If I’m not writing on this site it’s because I don’t know what is going on. Maybe I have a general sense of what is going on but not enough clarity to say anything about it. What’s going on? Words are more permanent than you’d think. A sentence is my hand gripped around something true, ideally. Picture my hand out the window of the car it is hard and soft against the air. The air is hard and soft because we are moving fast. The air has 70% control over how my hand is moving. Things are changing quickly around me and the sensations arrive as something other than sentences. For example my mouth is gaping open. There is air in my mouth. In this state I try not to let too much else come out of it.

i got here because of your twitter interview with pubeman77 (lol), but i read more of what you wrote and i liked it a lot because you’re reminding me of how important it is to think about the vastness of things, and i’ve also really loved your music for a while (especially the singing about girls stuff; as a girl who sings about girls, it’s a rare and wonderful thing).

so thanks for the words and the musical sounds.
