No Music Monopolies is a website dedicated to sharing knowledge about the consolidation of ownership in the music industry. The challenge of the site was to communicate a complicated and potentially jargony topic in a way that not only doesn’t make people’s eyes glaze over but, in fact, galvanizes individuals to take action. The site’s messaging and aesthetic needed to speak to multiple audiences simultaneously, including artists and listeners across a variety of genres as well as independent music business owners and policymakers.
